Created With Purpose

Everything that God has created has a purpose. That includes you. Never think, even for a second, that God made you without something specific in mind. Your life has meaning. Your presence on this earth matters.

But here’s the truth: just as God has a plan for your growth, there is an enemy who doesn’t want to see it fulfilled. In Exodus 1, Pharaoh looked at the people of Israel and said, “We must make a plan to keep them from growing even more” (Exodus 1:10 NLT

). The enemy still tries to do the same today to keep God’s people small, bound, and afraid.

The enemy’s job is clear: “to steal, kill, and destroy” (John 10:10 NIV). He wants to drain life out of anything good, your marriage or relationship, your finances, your business, your health, your wealth, your mind, and even your joy. He doesn’t stop there; he’s even willing to come after your children. But no matter what his schemes are, God’s plan is greater. “I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full” (John 10:10 NIV).

Not only does God have a plan, but He’s given you power and authority over the enemy. Jesus said in Luke 10:19 NIV: “I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you.”

That authority is only found in Christ and the way to know it, is to know Him. We know Him through His Word. When you know who you are in Him, you recognize the enemy’s lies, and you walk confidently in God’s truth.

So remember this:

• The enemy may have a plan, but it cannot win.

• You may feel resistance, but you cannot lose in Christ.

• You were created with purpose, and nothing can stop what God has started.

Prayer:

Lord, thank You for creating me with purpose. When the enemy tries to stop my growth, remind me that Your plan is greater. Help me walk in the power and authority You’ve given me through Christ, and keep me anchored in Your Word. In Jesus Mighty name, Amen.
