We Either Win or We Win!

It’s not the situation that was meant to destroy you. That situation was allowed to touch you because it’s there to strengthen you, it’s there to teach you and it’s there to grow you.

It is the enemy that comes during the situation to try and steal your joy, to disrupt your peace, to distract you and make you feel like you won’t make it, that God has forgotten about you, that God doesn’t love you, that God doesn’t care that your hurting, that God doesn't see what you're going through and that you can’t handle this and won’t make it through that. (ALL LIES) The enemy is trying to taunt you and make you believe all of this as you go through what seems like a mentally, physically, and emotionally challenging situation. Well guess what beautiful one? That situation you are going through is not meant to destroy you but to strengthen you.

John 10:10 The thief’s purpose is to steal and kill and destroy. My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life.

So, you see it’s not the situation that’s destroying you, it may be your thoughts and it may be your emotions. Sometimes when we’re going through a situation or difficult time it’s our thoughts and emotions that become our worst enemy when we allow them to. It’s the enemy doing the most in trying to attack you in the areas where he thinks he can weaken you. Now I’m not trying give the enemy no shine at all because he gets none, what I am saying is that he is always on the prowl when he sees moments he can attack and especially when we are going through some trying times. So be aware, because the more aware we are, the more prepared we can be to defeat him. 1 Peter 5:8 Stay alert! Watch out for your great enemy, the devil. He prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour. (NLT)

Do you know who is there with you, right there by your side? (GOD! He is there and he will never leave your side.) Joshua 1:9 This is my command-be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go. Yes, God is right there with us reaching out and wanting us to take his way, he’s right there with his helping hand, reaching down and rescuing us from any troubles we may be facing. Right there guiding us through it, strengthening us and picking us up, dusting us off from the fall and saying keep going my child because I have something better planned for you. I have something better prepared for your future (Jeremiah 29:11), so just resist the enemy and he will flee! (James 4:7) Trust me and keep your eyes on me because I will see you through every situation.

So, as you go through it and after you have come out of it, God wants you to know that you are victorious, you are free, you are strengthened and that you are a conqueror.

He also wants you to have learned by now how to identify the tactics, schemes, and tricks the enemy uses to try and defeat you so when another situation arises you will be ready and prepared to overcome the enemies same old tricks. But this next time, you will be ready to fight this battle with faith, winning and conquering in the spirit and knowing that God is right by your side and that the enemy cannot and will not EVER win.

So, guess what? That situation you’re in and dealing with right now is strengthening you and not conquering you. #YouWinAlways
